Challenge convention
Question "that's how it's always been done." Bring creative, tech-enabled solutions. Rethink processes from first principles, don't just tweak what exists.
We move people.
We're Koala: a team of conveyancers in Sheffield who think moving home should feel exciting, not exhausting. Regulated by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers. Live updates, plain English, and people who actually pick up the phone.
Made in Sheffield
More transparency
Less jargon
Real humans
Same legal rigour
None of the waiting around
Born out of frustration with how conveyancing works
Moving home is one of the biggest things we'll ever do, so why does the legal bit still feel so painful?
So we built our own software that shows exactly where your move is, as it happens, and gave every client a named conveyancer.
Today we work alongside estate agents, mortgage brokers and movers across the country, moving transactions faster than the traditional industry can. Same legal rigour. None of the waiting around.
And the people who build the tech
Our sister company, Koala Tech, builds the platform your move runs on. Same building, same obsession with doing it properly.
Our values: more than words on a wall
These five shape how we make decisions, talk to clients and fix problems. Anyone here can call out work that falls short of them.
Obsess about customers
The emotional weight of moving home is massive. See the process through the customer's eyes. Communicate proactively during high-stress moments.
Don't make me think
Stress comes from confusion and uncertainty. Write in plain language, never jargon. Design experiences that feel obvious. Proactively explain what's happening next.
Act like an owner
Proactively solve problems. Take full responsibility, even across team boundaries. Follow through without reminders. Make decisions with long-term trust in mind.
Sweat the small stuff
In conveyancing, small details cause major delays. Double-check everything. Fix inconsistencies before they become problems. Tiny improvements compound into big impact.
We’re on it.
We do the paperwork. You do the paintwork. Pick what you're doing for your no-obligation quote.
Real humans, ready when you are
